When this reviewer first played A.D., back when it was just released, it wasn't the hit it is now. The score was far lower. Still respectable (I don't check out NG flashes that are below 3.00) but since then, it has flowered on this site as, perhaps, only henti can on this site. I doubt another game could have taken off as late as it did without a front page or some other external help.

It would be a mistake to assume that just because it's henti, that it can't be as great as anything else this website can throw against it. The score and views are deserved. This is, quite simply, the finest porn game ever released on Newgrounds.

The reasons why this game is so good start with the story. Unlike "Meet and F**k" games (where the game play is a short delay to the sex), this game is all about the buildup. There are two women for you to go after but you can only succeed with one. Get greedy and you will end up alone at the end of the game.

That's not to say you can't get both, eventually, but this game understands that one has to crawl before you can walk. Threesomes are not your divine right. You have to earn it by adventuring with her and learning about her/them. You help each other and you can see genuine relationship build up before you are able to consummate anything. That's not to say there isn't a bit of casual sex too, there is, but the story revolves around the two main girls and this reviewer thinks that's a good thing.

Another problem I have with adult games is too many options. You can to after a half a dozen girls. However, there is no strong story line and you get all these stats and I don't know what I should be building up or how or what I should be doing to woo a girl. Even if I did. I still don't CARE about any of them. They mean nothing to me. Again, not the problem here. There are 2 liner paths one can take for success and they are pointed out quite well. You can become a warrior and peruse Selena through various adventures, or become a mage and go after Taiyo.

The sex... this reviewer is also glad that there are no elaborate controls for that. Press/rub here first, then there. An important thing this game understands is that you just shouldn't do that. It's not erotic. Adult games try, oh Lord they try, but a henti game just can't get sex across. It's always too far removed, too... fake. Instead you have a few options and do a little script. Even here, the women have personalities that show through a bit. They talk, they even say "no" if you want to have anal. What woman says THAT after you get her to bed in henti? What woman remembers that she is not your toy but a woman. That kind of thing really hits home for me. It was a nice touch.

I don't think I can talk about the game without mentioning the art. Yes they are all big chested women with slender bodies but they are not henti either. It's a different look. Henti, no matter what you do, ALWAYS looks the same. The only way to tell one from the other is their hair and coloring. That's IT! Every girl looks the same and it is so incredibly boring. I am refreshed to see a different take on nudity here.

The magic setting is also great. I love fantasy and that really takes in significant importance for the story. Another thing that's wonderful is the way the storyline changes based on how you do. There is a final villain and 3 ways to destory him. That's wonderful. This is a trait that should be expanded upon in any future games. It's not just about the women.

I played this game again and again until I got all the achievements. It was fun. I love RPGs. It's not perfect. Selina's story was a little weak. Perhaps more grieving of the loss of her boyfriend? There is some grinding but also "skip" buttons to pass some of the stretches of dialogue, which is appreciated.

What finally inspired me to write this review was none of that though.

The author has replied to over 800 reviews over 2 years. Every one. If the author cares that much about NGer's thoughts then how can I not give some?

I like the set up. I've read a number of this type of story and I think you do a good job of putting us into the situation of the girl who has was stolen, had her body transformed and then brought to the apartment. There is nothing special about it. The art is good but it's just a series of still pictures and few options to pick from. Which is fine. It doesn't need a whole mess and I'm glad you skipped it becoming some kind of henti porn.

It's frustrating though. I have tried many times to escape my mind controlled fate but have been unable. It's a simple set up. No hidden buttons that I can find and the choice tree is limited. I sent a pm but I got no answer so I am writing a review in an effort to get your attention.

How do you win? You say that it's possible but I have no idea how it may be so. I would really hope that you are not just messing with us and saying that there is a solution when there isn't one.

So there I was, passing all sorts of movies as a good member should on Clock Day when I suddenly came across a flash so awsome it put all others to shame. I immediately looked to see what author could make such a fabulous work and I was immediately stunned by what I saw.

"Straw... StrawberryClock?" I asked in numbed awe. Could it be? Surely not. Everyone knew that Strawberry's account had been inaccessible for years. Coolboyman was the current alt.

Well no. Actually he had made a submission last clockday too. I just looked actually. I'm rather stunned to be honest. How did I not know this? I'm really surprised that I didn't know. such news should be trumpeted to the stars above so that all may vote five on his wonderful works and make sure that Strawberry get's his rightful spot as top flash on Clockday. Rememver all this is a day to celebrate him (and B) so vote fiven everyone! ^_^
